About Dr Gary Ferguson
Dr Ferguson is a Consultant and Accredited Specialist in Occupational Medicine (MFOM) with over 16 years’ clinical experience across Northern Ireland and the UK. He began his career in general practice with a strong focus on workplace health before specialising in occupational medicine. His expertise covers a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, emergency services, local government, construction, manufacturing, and SMEs.
A recognised leader in his field, Dr Ferguson provides the full spectrum of occupational health services—from complex case management and fitness-for-work assessments to health surveillance, ill-health retirement reviews, and workplace health promotion.

Driving Clinical Leadership
As Medical Director, Dr Ferguson will lead clinical governance across all HMOH services, ensuring the highest professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. Holding a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership and a Master’s in Medical Education, he brings together specialist expertise with a strong commitment to quality improvement and mentoring the expanding clinical team across the business.
